This is Willow, a Glen Gummi. Because she was already a teenager, the staff at the Agency were concerned potential parents might overlook her and opt for the younger kids. So I decided to adopt her myself . . .
As far as school is concerned, this is an important year for Willow - she'll be sitting her exams at the end of it. So she's been getting a mountain of coursework, which often keeps her in her bedroom for up to three hours at a stretch. Not surprisingly, she isn't too enthusiastic about being disturbed - the other day, she gave Feryl a tongue-lashing for making a noise while she was trying to write an essay. He responded by making a rude gesture, so I had to give him a good talking to and tell him I would rather not see gestures like the one he made.
Returning to the subject of Willow, she has also been made a prefect. She has to wear a badge whenever she's at school and it gives her priveliges other kids don't have. This includes the power to hand out demerits for misbehaviour and she quickly made it clear to the rest of her secondary age siblings that they would not be exempt just because she's their sister. At this point, Feryl groaned and muttered about "having her bossing us around in school now".
Still, Willow does get on well with her siblings and she hasn't had to demerit any of them yet. And I'm hoping she never does, especially where Feryl is concerned - I'd hate having to sort out the kind of quarrel that would cause.
Willow's favourite colour is blue and the wallpaper in her room reflects that. I got it from allfreebackgrounds.com

Willow has pretty much outgrown toys, but she does have a stuffed cat that she's had since she was five. There's also a wooden scooter, a game of Trivial Pursuit and an archery set. I've had to set down firm rules about the latter - it's for outdoor use only and the younger kids (those under seven years old) are not allowed to play with it. The box is for storing her treasures.
Willow recently decided she wanted a guinea pig so, having received assurances that she would look after it, I went to get one. The place I got it from even gave me a certificate with the guinea pig's picture on it - please click it to go to the site concerned. Willow has named her guinea pig Blackie.

Willow chose this canopy bed for herself - the shop didn't have any blue ones in stock, so we got a purple one instead. She's at the age where she's starting to take an interest in her appearence, hence why we got her a chest of drawers with a mirror.
