Audrey and Evelyn are a pair of Glen Gummi twin sisters. If you want to know which is which, Audrey is the one on the left.

They really are a pair of born mischief-makers. The other day, I received what I thought was a very important letter, but, when I opened it, all I found was a piece of paper with a random scribble on one side and the words: FOOLED YOU! written on the other in childish handwriting. I had a pretty shrewd idea of who the most likely suspects were, but getting either of them to confess was a different matter.

In the end, after several minutes of Audrey and Evelyn trying to pin the blame on each other and giggling whenever I demanded to know the truth, I'd had enough. So I told them that whoever had written the fake letter had better own up or they would both be in trouble. Of course, they both owned up and I was left none the wiser as to who had played this trick. I still don't know, but it's quite likely that both twins were in on it even if only one of them actually wrote the "letter". So I had a few words with them about not trying to cover up for each other all the time, as well as the fact that practical jokes are not funny for those on the receiving end, before sending them both to "think things over".

Aside from this, Audrey and Evelyn haven't been too bad lately. They get on well with all their siblings (especially Connie and Jenny) and they are both doing well at school.

One other piece of news: Audrey and Evelyn's picture has been chosen as part of the agency's banner. If you want to see what it looks like, take a look below - and please click to find out more about adopting young Gummi Bears.

Above you can see some of Audrey and Evelyn's toys. Audrey's include a Gummi Bear doll, a polehorse, a kite, a ball and a chick glove puppet. Evelyn's include a stuffed elephant, a poletoy with a lion's head, a game called Simon, a hula hoop and a butterfly glove puppet.

The twins gave me some trouble when I was redecorating. Audrey wanted purple wallpaper, Evelyn wanted yellow and neither would back down. Luckily, Pat's Web Graphics had a design that combined both colours.

Audrey and Evelyn sleep in a desk-bed combo, sort of like an L-shaped bunk bed; Audrey has the top bunk. The twins' dressers are below - Audrey's is the one with blue drawers and Evelyn's is purple.
