Before going any further, I'd better explain what this is all about. One of my favourite sites is cheezey.com, a rather wacky Thundercats site, and the webmistress was recently flamed by a wannabe screen-writer who gave her grief because he couldn't find the information he needed to write his Thundercats movie. You can read his message and see what she had to say about it here.
But I thought it would be fun to post up what others have said about this individual - so I created this page. Please note that, when I say "this site" in my response, I'm refering to Cheezey's site and not my own.

Thanks for introducing yourself, Mr Thomas. I hope you don't mind if I give you a little . . . constructive criticism.

Break out the champagne, everyone! We FINALLY have a flamer who actually read Cheezey's Flaming For Dummies article! Mind you, you did slip up on the punctuation - there should be an apostrophe in "Your sites content" so people know it's not sites plural. So I'm afraid I'll have to take a point off for that.
Dear Cheezey,
Hmm . . . makes a change from "HI BITCH!" and words to that effect.
Having read a few of the other delinquents' attempts at flames, I like you, laughed until I had to run to the toilet.
You mean Whiddaw, Stone Cold and all that bunch? Yes, they were good for a laugh, but frankly that's about all they were good for.
I would like you to understand a few things before I continue in what I hope you will qualify as I high quality rant.
Point of order, Mr Thomas? What exactly do you mean by "I high quality rant"? Last time I checked, the indefinite article (check the dictionary) in English was "a" - as in "a high quality rant".
I am a fan of Thundercats, and have been since as far back as I can remember. I have read numerous fan fics, and although many have come close to the quality of the series, none have actually hit the target.
As one Thundercats fan to another, may I ask you a question? . . . Oh, I'll ask it anyway . . . What exactly were you looking for in these fanfics that haven't "actually hit the target"? Cos, if you expect fanfic to be EXACTLY like the series that inspired it, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed.
This, and my ambition to write a movie which will one day be made,
Unless you have the funds and the backing of a major Hollywood studio, I'd says there's more chance of Mumm-Ra winning the Nobel Peace Prize than there is of your movie getting off the ground. Let's look at this realistically. Do you HONESTLY think someone gets a bunch of actors together and waves a magic wand to get an instant box-office smash? Of course not! Movies take time and money to make and I very much doubt you've got much of either.
has lead me to attempt, the long awaited real-time Thundercats The Movie.
If you're serious about going into movie-making, may I suggest you start small? Try something that won't require as many cool effects as a Thundercats movie would? To start with, several characters (such as Snarf) would have to be done in CGI . . .
And, by the way, there's no A in "led" when it's used as the past tense of "lead".
In my months of desperate research I have not managed to find anybody that can tell me of the origins of Willykat, and WillyKat.
So? There's a lot of other stuff that was never fully explained in canon - such as how the characters manage to survive in space without space helmets. As for Wilykit and Wilykat (notice how I've only spelt their names with one L) most fans have their own theories about that. I'd be interested to know what yours are . . . unless you're too lazy to invent details yourself to fill in the gaps in canon. I doubt their origins would matter too much anyway, unless you plan to have your movie focus on that particular issue . . .
Having not actually seen the first few episodes, I feel that I am at a loss. I am also trying to find more in-depth biographies,
I'd say something here, but Cheezey has already offered you some links that might give you what you're looking for
and a detailed descriptions of planet Thundera.
Far be it from me to nitpick, but you can't have "a detailed descriptions". It's either "a detailed description" or "some detailed descriptions".
I was told that for all my Thundercats needs, I only needed to look at one site, that my months of research have been wasted. I was directed to www.cheezey.com/thundercats, so of course I rushed here, and was solemnly disappointed.
To quote Otto from The Simpsons - Man! That is flagrant false advertising! Seriously though - and I think Cheezey said this earlier - we of the Thundercats fandom are sorry this site didn't meet your expectations. But have you ever heard the little adage about not being able to please all of the people all of the time?
Not only did I find myself faced with second rate fan fic,
So we're back to the quality of fanfics, are we? I'll admit that some do need a little work plot-wise, but did you actually read enough of the stories in the fanfic section to make a valid assessment of the general quality? Or did you happen to have the misfortune of stumbling across some of the badly written fics and promptly dismiss the whole section? And what you need to remember with fanfic is that the authors are NOT professional writers. Rather, they are in it purely because they like writing stories about their favourite shows and the characters who appeared in them.
Now, unless you can come up with a first rate Thundercats fanfic, I strongly urge you to shut up about the quality of other people's work.
information on characters that was of a low quality compared to many of the other sites, but you even missed character profiles on such important people as the ro-bear Berbils, Queen Willa, and The Snowman On Hook Mountain.
Er, have you tried looking on other sites for character information? Cheezey's isn't the only Thundercats site on the Net - you only need to check out her links page to see proof of that. Alternatively, try your Search Engine or - better yet - watch the episodes if you can.
Your pathetic attempt at a web site has not only embarrassed your family, your friends, and myself, it has also managed to make us look as foolish as you.
If you think this site is "pathetic", you're welcome to go away and STAY AWAY! I've been coming here on and off since 1999 and I don't think it's pathetic at all. And I get the feeling that you're the foolish one for bashing a site just because it wasn't what you were looking for.
We can only weep, and pray that we stop at this resemblance to you, as to look like you too...well, it's a fate worse than death.
No, being flamed by idiots with nothing better to do than rant about pages they don't like for whatever reason is a fate worse than death. Do you know what I do if I find a site I don't like? Well, I make sure to stay off it in future and I've never wasted my time posting childish rants to the owners of sites that aren't what I expected them to be.
Yours respectfully,
Nick Thomas
OK, let's give you your score. On the plus side, you did write more-or-less grammatically and you never once resorted to obscenities or the Caps Lock. BUT . . .
. . . you did whine about the site not being what you hoped it would be when you could have been taking your alleged "movie research" elsewhere so I'll have to take points off for site-bashing. I'll give you 3/10 because you at least managed to post a coherent message but let yourself down with childish ranting about how "pathetic" this site is.
Yours respectfully
Clare Nicholas

Wow... it must have been slow day for that Nicky to write a long rant. After all the concept of a *fan* site probably hasn't hit him.
Now for the origin of Thunderkittens to satisfy his thirst: they were concieved by accident as a result of a hole in a condom. Their mother was a cheap hooker who hung out at a second rate night club in the red light district and their father (fathers rather) came and went. Last I heard, they all eventually killed themselves by drug OD. How the twins ended up into Thundercats remained a mystery but it is believed they are not true Thundercats but rather they used their cunnings to fool their way in.
Happy now Nicky?

LOL Imp!
As for my take on the flame: damn, that was right on the mark, Cheeze, in pointing out that he was too lazy to do his own research [while you're at it, why don't you just write the damn script for him, hmmmm? Oh, that's right. You -- nor any of the rest of us ficcies -- could not do so seems how you're so second rate and all ::rolls eyes:: You should be grateful he deems you worthy to do his legwork! ]. I can't fathom how anyone like him can expect to write a new series if they don't already know canon inside and out. Besides, I think many sites explain how vague and choppy TC canon can be -- which means some things either go unanswered, are open to interpretation and/or contradict each other. But all that's not up to you to sort out for him, that's for damn sure!
I mean, you and many of the rest of us are running *fan* pages -- and like you said, since we fund and maintain our sites more or less by ourselves, we're sure as hell not beholden to this jackass's demands LOL. If one of us had an "official" site, I could almost see his point in a few areas. But since that's not the case, he's way off base!
Ironically, you did get the most informative site award along with Dr. Zhie LOL. Sheesh. And you're so right...if he'd done months of research, how come he still knows jack and shit about basic stuff in the series? I dunno, if I were serious about such a project, I'd skip waiting to download eps and looking at sites, and just order a set of tapes, but whatever!
It was also weird how mad he got at you for not having the site *someone else* had sold it to him as - it's not like *you* bill your site as the one stop place for everyone's ThunderCat needs hehehe (That was ThunderSource who claimed that, har har).
Though, there is an awful lot of stuff on it -- indeed, it's safe to say it's the largest fan site for TC on the net. Judging from your guest book, most people are more than satisfied with it, too Just goes to show, a site this big, with this much stuff *still* doesn't have every little thing that the Nicky's of the world demand. Yes, we webmasters should take notes...on how to handle flamers like this, that is!
I guess they don't get that a fan site is going to reflect the webmaster's bias, taste and interests -- not to mention it's done on their own time :-p I don't mind taking reasonable suggestions concerning appearance or content of my site into consideration -- the new layout of my page and the Wildstorm section are direct result of visitor input. But Nicky needs to do some research on tact, that's for sure! Ah, Nicky...where's Mumm-Ra with his red lighting when you need him, dammit?
Anyway, I think you did a great job replying to him, hehe!! That part where he assumed your friends and family were ashamed of you is a riot I have yet to see a flaming asshat make a case not built on outlandish and unsubstantiated statements -- I mean, hell, did he expect you to believe he privately surveyed your friends and family and they weepingly confessed, "Yes, we're so ashamed of Cheezey! Her site is sub-par and her fics are too...waaaaaaaaaah!" LMAO. My, but that's what makes trolls and asshats so entertaining!
So I leave you with a picture tribute to Nicky...as they say, pics are worth a thousand words!

Sorry I had been MIA for so long but I had other juicy skeleton-in-the-closet details to chase down.
@Imp-
You information is mostly correct but a few details had remained secret long enough...
True Thunderkittens snuck in but they had help from the inside. Their father is still alive and well. Their father is still with the Thunderkittens although no one else knows about it, not even the kittens. If the word got out that one of the Thundercat had a one night fling with a hooker and had twin out of marriage, scandals would have destroyed Thundercats.
I'll let you figure out who the father is but I can assure it was not Lion-Ho... er I mean Lion-O because he hadn't reached puberty then.

Oh and the Lemons picture isn't mine either - it's the one Purrsia used in her reply on Cheezey's messageboard
