Chloe is a young Rat Mutant. I adopted her from the Adamante Orphanage, but she was previously at the same "orphanage" as Yumi and Zinnia. The latter establishment was very badly run, with little thought given to the children's physical and emotional welfare. So Ulisa (who runs the Gummi Bears Adoption Agency) stepped in, taking the Gummi Bears into her own agency and shipping the Thunderians, Mutants and Lunatacs to Adamante.
Chloe is still a very quiet child, although she no longer spends so much time staring into space. She now readily interacts with her siblings and has even begun to initiate some games. When I first took her in, she was really shy and nervous (the result of what the people running her first "orphanage" did to her) and was afraid to do anything without permission in case she got punished.
Happily, she now knows that, while I do set limits for certain things, I don't mind if the kids sometimes use their initiative, provided it's within reason. But she's still a little wary if things go wrong when she's around. The other day, for instance, she accidentally threw her red top in with the white laundry, causing everything to turn pink. She was afraid she would be in trouble and spent the whole afternoon hiding in her room. Eventually, Willow managed to coax her out and I managed to reassure her that I wasn't angry with her.
On the whole, Chloe is progressing well. Like all Rats, she has to have her front teeth filed down regularly, but, aside from that, there have been no serious health issues.

This is a small selection of the toys I got for Chloe - before, all she had was a set of building bricks with the paint flaking off. From left to right, we have a stuffed tiger, a ball, a bike and a kite. The creature below is her pet string serpent, a small species of snake found in certain mystical realms. Chloe's is a female and she calls her Snakey.
This is Chloe's bedroom furniture. She has a canopy bed, a chest of drawers and a vanity, all in shades of grey. Apparently, she likes that colour because it matches her fur.
