Malachi simply loves autumn - he says the colours look really "cool". And, from what Byron told me, he once tried to make a collection of autumn leaves, but the staff at their old "orphanage" found them and threw them away. One of the often arbitrary "rules" that place had . . . Anyway, when I asked Malachi if he wanted to make a new collection, he responded with a slight nod of the head. But that was good enough for me, so we went out together and collected a few leaves and whatnot. The picture above is one of Malachi's favourites.
